This is another exceptional activity, in which you will evolve in a typical alpine universe, as magical, as it is austere.
Just imagine, climbing up using special equipment (crampons and traction ice-axes) a frozen waterfall, the walls of which are tantalizingly ephemeral !
Zinal, Mauvoisin, Trient and Chamonix, to mention but a few of our star destinations also provide ice suitable for beginners.

Not unlike rock climbing but with different parameters, ice climbing gives you intense sensations and entire body movement.

It is an excellent alternative to skiing when the snow conditions are mediocre; Ice climbing is a sport unto itself.
